Movies, Money, and Must-Say Notes (AND MUST SEE POST SCRIPT)

Movies I checked out today were:

Gone in 60 Seconds (2000)

Very amazing movie - I feel like watching it again.

Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift.

Let's face it. This movie was amazing as well, AND I feel like seeing Han for more than a few minutes. The fourth movie took place RIGHT before, and during the third movie. This one. There's a surprise at the end of this one too. WATCH IT! This one has more races.

White Noise

I have never seen this movie, but it's about ghosts and the actor is not terrible (hopefully Michael Keaton isn't - he wasn't terrible in the Batman movies). It looks cool, I guess. So hopefully it won't be as bad as My Bloody Valentine 3D or as disappointing.

And I saw most of this adorable movie before going to the library:

I absolutely LOVE this movie! It's actually funny, witty, cute AND with a good message (SUBLIMINAL MESSAGING SAYS WATCH IT!).

I MADE A LOT OF MONEY WORKING YESTERDAY! Won't say how much though...don't feel like disclosing that information.

NOTE on the last post:

Garret Hedlund was the highlight of Eragon. He wasn't the whole reason why I like Georgia Rule, just the only reason to like or remotely tolerate that crap fest (and Rachel Weisz as Saphira).

PS: Just posted Chapter 3 of Roses and Poetry. READ IT!

FIRST DAY

Yep. My first day of work as a bagger at the commissary. I trained for two hours (making minimal money) then really worked for one hour making a little over $18. Or under. You see we get money through tips. It's a very easy job. Easier than English class.

I checked out three movies:

Lara Croft Tomb Raider

Georgia Rule

My Bloody Valentine 3D

First movie listed was feel good action packed.

Second movie was amazing - all three main actresses (Jane Fonda, Felicity Huffman [LYNETTE!], Lindsay Lohan) did beautifully. An it didn't hurt that Garret Hedlund was in it, even though he was much better looking in Four Brothers and Eragon (he was the highlight of the movie). I recommend Georgia Rule AND Four Brothers (WATCH THEM!)

I was really disappointed with MBV3D. I already knew what was going to happen and I just didn't like it. One of the main problems I had with this movie was a problem I had with GI Joe - SPOILER ALERT FOR BOTH Why does the hottie have to become psycho or disfigured and become the bad guy? WHY? And with MBV3D, I was disappointed with the explanation too! Ugh! I was just disappointed! Like I was with The Spirit.

I saw the official trailer for New Moon in the VMA's. I'm not gonna lie - IT WAS AMAZING! It looks WAAAAY better than the first. It was just so epic. Let's hope it's better than the book.

Another trailer I saw at the VMA's was This Is It, the MJ movie. It's sad, what happened...

Watched Emmy Fashion Police - GOD! They're such hippocrites! They want the chicks to look slutty! And they said the worst dressed guy was JT. He did NOT look that bad.

Well that's it for now. Might update this post later.

MOVIES

The movies I checked out were:

Anastasia

Push

Cellular

Anastasia I had to watch again. Push was okay. CELLULAR WAS AWESOME!!!!

I also watched these movies:

Scream

Scream 2 (Jada Pinkett-Smith doesn't last very long in this movie...)

Scream 3

These movies were actually scary. Watch them. There's also gonna be a Scream 4 movie...

A movie I feel like watching again:

Equilibrium (uh-MAZING movie! although I like the Matrix better...or do I?)

I might check out Dirty Dancing again (and Outsiders) in loving memory of Patrick Swayze:

Dirty Dancing

The Outsiders

R.I.P Patrick Swayze (1952-2009)

May his memory never be forgotten, and his friends and family have my condolences.

Us eating on the train back

Those are pictures of our trip to Harrogate. We actually took three trains in each direction. It was fun!

And now for movie talk!

Speaking of the three chicks in the title, they're all movie characters (OBVIOUSLY!).

I actually watched Twilight twice more. Here's how I usually feel about it. I love it when I watch it, but after I watched it, I hated it. Each time. I like some of the aspects of the movie, but a lot of it is terrible. I actually like the couple as a dysfunctional couple, not a perfect couple. And Robsten has so much chemistry!

The second lady, Ms. Juno MacGuff. The movie, Juno, was so amazing and hilarious and witty. Ellen Page played such a convincing role, and Michael Cera was surprisingly good in this movie too! And a cheerleader is finally not "the bad guy", but the BFF of Juno.

And the final lady, Ms. Penelope Wilhern. The movie Penelope was so not stupid. It was great, beautiful, and upbeat. I still don't understand why all the guys ran away from her, she didn't look that bad with the pig nose. So it was beautiful. I didn't know it actually had a little bit of magic (literally) in it. WATCH IT!

That's pretty much it.

PS: I GOT MY HOMEWORK DONE THAT WAS DUE TODAY!!! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!

I. Hate. Homework.

I mean seriously who doesn't? But when you get homework on the first day of school that takes two hours, and the second day homework that takes the same as well, and when you have a stubborn family who tells you to do homework first, but the only time you can watch your tv RIGHT after school MIXED in with two hour homework? I'm stuck with watching Disney Channel and (not so bad) Desperate Housewives.

EFF YOU HOMEWORK!

But I think I found a solution. A difficult one, but still, a solution.

I just figured out I have Seminar, a 90 Minute Period in where I can do homework. I was planning to write fanfics, but I can do homework. YAY!
